Before joining forces, Andy and Lee each carved out distinct reputations. Andy emerged as a respected solo producer, releasing a series of tracks and earning a three-month residency on Simon Patterson’s Digital Showdown in 2012. Meanwhile, Lee built his name behind the decks, supporting heavyweights like Anne Savage, Rob Tissera, and Lisa Lashes.
In 2015, they officially formed Blacklisted, united by a shared ethos: to deliver driving, high-energy trance that blends raw emotion
with technical finesse. Their sound is rooted in classic uplift and tech trance, but always with a modern edge.
Their production breakthrough came in 2016 with a string of originals and remixes on respected labels including Defcon Records, Aria, Mysterious Station, and Fuzion Four Records. The standout track Nervous Breakdown received multiple plays from John Askew and gained widespread support in clubs and on radio.
